CISCO VANCOUVER MARKETING PLAN
Cisco | Cloud Security Unit
I championed a 54-page marketing plan which aims to enhance Cisco Vancouver's brand and access to qualified technical talents with a three-prong approach: optimize field marketing, increase digital marketing & do bottom-up employer branding
By researching 450+ posts of 15 competitors on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as conducting 12 in-depth-interviews, I:
Identified best performing content categories across different channels, as well as strength & weakness of competitors' digital marketing strategies
Benchmarked click-through-rate, reach, impressions, engagement rate and other related metrics
Analyzed data using MS Excel & Tableau to identify insights about technical hires' ideal employer, job search channels, social media usage, etc.
Another area of focus that I had was employer branding, especially through field marketing. Here, I also looked into 100+ events and conferences within greater metro Vancouver to help Cisco Vancouver allocate sponsorship, host meet-ups, and involve in campus marketing using a detailed implementation plan.
Altogether, my proposed recommendations are paving the way Cisco Vancouver approaches marketing to improve organic interest and the number of qualified technical applicants,

EVENT: EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE THROUGH VR
AIESEC in University of British Columbia
I caught onto the trend of new technology to revamp AIESEC's traditional information sessions into virtual-reality-viewing ones. Here, I led a team of 5 marketers to promote AIESEC online presence by producing videos, infographics, as well as managing paid ads and posts.
This series of events was a huge success, with an attendance rate that is 750% higher than our historical average, attracting 100+ interests with a 32% conversion rate! This eventually contributes to AIESEC UBC ranking first across 27 chapters in Canada with 1440+ leads generated after a quarter.

EVENT: STARTUP STARTER PACK
AIESEC in University of British Columbia
Noticing the "internship search" frenzy and lack of professional brand image among students, I led the efforts to organize an informational session for AIESEC's international internships using those two main selling points: headshot and internship.
The event was a massive success with 180+ interests and a 26.9% conversion rate, helping AIESEC UBC generate the highest sales in our startup exchange program across 27 entities in the first quarter.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING: EXECUTIVE TEAM AND TUTORS HIRING
Commerce Mentorship Program (CMP)
To help maximize the number of applicants, I led the omni-channel marketing efforts to highlight CMP's family-centric culture and rewarding work. This is done by featuring executive team and their testimonials, countdown posts, e-newsletters, and other guerrila marketing tactics such as GPA Fortune Teller.
