Emily Pace
Director of Product Marketing @ ecobee
Sang led three projects during her time as Product Marketing intern. The first was to optimize how we use our refurbished products, keeping ecobee thermostats out of landfills. What stood out to me was how well Sang worked with our team in a remote environment and pulled out strengths of the team. The second was re-positioning ecobee’s customer-facing messaging to grow market share by appealing to our consumer in a way which is differentiated from our competition. She presented it to a large group of directors and our VP, showing confidence and a strong degree of creativity both in her recommendation and the presentation itself. Finally, she led an initiative to start a new business at ecobee to send battery replacements exactly when customers them, doing a detailed financial analysis which was way beyond my expectations. She presented a program to the CMO/CRO which we will implement to generate over $1 Million in revenue. Finally, Sang led a team in ecobee’s hackathon to develop an app for an elderly medical monitoring subscription service. She was driven by seeing a shortage of communication and medical monitoring tools made accessible for the elderly and their family, and motivated her team of interns to take the #1 prize for recurring revenue, even when competing against more than 10 teams of full time employees! Sang shows leadership, a drive for intellectual pursuits, creativity and kindness to everyone she works with.

Relationship Manager, Higher Education @ LinkedIn Learning
It is with pleasure that I write this recommendation for Sang Le. As the lead for Canada for the LinkedIn
Learning Higher Education team I worked closely with Sang as part of the Linkedin Ambassador
Program and found myself in a constant state of awe of her dedication, commitment and innovation.
Sang has a strong grasp of the LinkedIn and Lynda.com interface. Sang learned our software inside and
out and helped relay information in an accessible way across end users. Sang explains our products clearly and possesses incredible instincts for identifying and pursuing opportunities to bring the value of
our products to her peers.
Sang established an outstanding relationship with senior leaders in her University to share her story and
those of other students about how LinkedIn Learning could benefit students to be career ready. For
instance, Sang created, planned and implemented a series of meetings and campaigns spanning from
meetings with the Chief Information Officer and Provost to online video campaigns which contributed
to ongoing efforts on UBC campus. Sang has the combination of business acumen and communication
skills that makes her an asset to any team. Now that she is in her second year of the program, I cannot wait to see how she mentors and helps other students find the same success.
In closing, I would like to make clear that Sang is an exceptional candidate and would be an asset to any
team. I am confident that she will surpass your expectations.
Sang is proactive, determined, strategic, innovative, creative and incredibly passionate. Please feel free
to contact me as I would be honored to provide you with even more reasons to make Sang the newest
addition to your team.

Associate Product Manager @ ZaloPay, VNG Corporations
It is my pleasure to recommend Sang for employment with your organization. Sang was a hardworking and dedicated team member in the product team at VNG Corporations, where I managed her during her summer internship. Although the time was short (2 months), Sang was
very thorough in everything she does.
While in the internship, Sang demonstrated project and time management skills. She planned
out research and detailed budget and timeline, conducted interviews and surveys for our user
research. Sang followed up with supervisor and hustled through the work during weekends to
get things done on time.
Moreover, Sang is able to work independently under little supervision. She is proactive, not shy
away from asking questions when needed, while focusing on solving problems on her own to
complete the tasks. Working with Sang was an ease because of this.
One thing that sets Sang different from the rest of the interns is her communication skills, both
oral and written, were excellent. During the product development project, she worked with
both internal stakeholders from legal, finance, engineers, to external design vendor. Her ability
to demonstrate clearly what's needed help the project move forward smoothly.
With Sang's eagerness to learn, communication skills and deadline-oriented attitude, she is a
reliable team member and an asset to any team she will work with. Please feel free to contact
me should you like to further discuss Sang’s qualifications and experience further. I’d be happy
to expand on my recommendation.
Li Ze Choo
Vice President Marketing @ AIESEC in University of British Columbia
Charismatic, hardworking, detail-oriented, creative, and ambitious, Sang was a huge asset to the team with her ability to communicate efficiently and clearly to both members within the team and entities outside the organization.
I worked with her to build up a marketing team from scratch, this included hiring new members as well as developing marketing strategies and campaigns. Throughout the process, Sang worked
with a focus and determination that empowered the team. For example, she helped build a refined 30 second pitch that increased our leads generation by ~350% in comparison to last year.
With an innovative mind and artistic vision, Sang spearheaded many of our creative initiative with great conversions: virtual reality information sessions, social media marketing materials,
sponsored giveaways. Sang is also a great leader and team player. Whenever new challenges are thrown at her, she
learned fast, worked hard, always with a smile on her face.
Sang is always the most dedicated and inspiring that she brings a burst of energy to everyone else, even when it is a slow day. Not only did she motivate and improve the teams with trainings and healthy competition, but she was also known as a great friend who is always there for her teammates. With a positive, lively and personable personality, Sang helped me greatly in building an inclusive, family-oriented culture that is famous throughout AIESEC UBC.
All in all, she is truly an incredible counterpart, an integral contributor to AIESEC UBC historic
growth, and an absolute joy to work with. Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Sang to
join your team. As a dedicated and knowledgeable employee and an all-around great person, I
know that she will be a beneficial addition to your organization.
